The court in Rustavi city of Georgia have sent an accused of murder to prison. The accused has been awarded a term of 20 years of imprisonment.
The accused has committed murder of victim under aggravating circumstances. The court after pronouncing its judgement also shared evidence. This evidence were collected by Georgian Prosecutor office.
The evidence of the Rustavi court indicated the murder was result of pre-planning due to greed and enmity. The office of prosecutor has been ordered to examine all the evidence in this regard.
All the evidence which was collected and taken into custody were examined by court during the trial. The trial and evidence confirmed that accused committed this offence on May 20, 2023, in the village of Marabda, Tetritskaro Municipality.
There were two other persons also who assisted accuse of execution of this heinous crime. It is also shocking to know his two accomplices also include one minor person.
All of three have caused many injuries on head of driver of taxi. Moreover, atter causing injury they use a cable to strangulate him mercilessly. As per information, the accused person after committing the offence also tried to hide offence. They tried to erase evidence to escape their liability also.
They take dead body of victim to territory of the village of Kericho in Marneuli Municipality and buried. Thay at the same time also stolen car of victim person also. All of them were taken into custody by members of law enforcement agencies.
The law enforcers have charged them under Article 109, Subparagraphs “i”, “m” and “n” of the Criminal Code of Georgia (premeditated murder committed in a group, with cruelty and greed). Now court pronounced its decision in the case.
The court while pronouncing the judgement said that this is very heinous crime. Court also observed that this offence needs to be dealt strictly. The Rustavi court of law now sentenced two major accused to undergo twenty year of jail term. The one minor has been sentenced to 12-year imprisonment also.
