The Mayor of Rustavi City Hall , Nino Latasbidze extends best wishes to the children who are going to begin their academic journey in schools. These kids will be admitted to schools as they have completed their basic education at kindergartens.
The mayor and other representatives of the Municipality gave gifts to motivate them to study with full dedication. Mayor Nino Latasbidze shared glimpses of the event on her social media.
In the Facebook post the Mayor stated “We sent more than 1600 children from kindergartens to schools this year and as a tradition We gave them memorable photo albums as gifts. Congratulations on the beginning of the first important stage of life and I wish each of them success.”
A number of students were present during the event. Some arrived with their parents or the guardians to join the memorable ceremony. The children were happy to be part of this event, especially after receiving the gifts from the municipality representative.
The Mayor of the city, Rustavi who is a frontrunner for many social welfare initiatives, clicked photos with the children after delivering them the gifts. She also got involved with some children and their parents. Moreover Mayor hugged the little ones, who were looking very pretty in different colorful dresses to grace the occasion.
A selfie point was erected to capture lifelong moments in the camera. The children and their parents or guardians clicked the selfies here and felt very happy. The Mayor addressed the gathering saying, “These proud children are today going to join the new phase of their lives. I like to congratulate everyone on this achievement. Moreover I would like to wish all the best for their bright and successful future ahead.”
On the other hand the parents of the pupils thanked the Mayor and the other officials and representatives of the municipality for such a great event and for making the best efforts to uplift the municipality’s education system. They expressed hopes that the Municipality will make the best efforts in the future as well in the direction of the education and other social welfare initiative.
