Nino Latsabidze the Mayor of Rustavi city hall along with other representatives met with municipality’s youth. The meeting aimed to implement the youth’s innovative ideas for the systematic planning of Rustavi.
It is worth noting that the Municipality has taken many initiatives in this direction in the past. Young members interacting with municipality officials allows them to share unique ideas. The administration can also use these ideas for the municipality’s overall development.
The Mayor of Rustavi city hall took to her social media handles to share glimpses of the event. On her official Facebook page the Mayor stated, “Today we have met with Rustavi youth and once again discussed with them all the projects and concepts which the Municipality is planning to implement. All these plans by the Municipality will be implemented with their support and participation in Rustavi.”
The Facebook post further stated “We’ve had a lot of conversations about the future of our country and I’m so glad to see the development of the city and the country alike.” A large number of local youth attended this meeting. They were all very excited to share their thoughts with Municiplaity’s representatives.
The Mayor while addressing the youth stated “The Municipality is always committed to providing youth with the opportunity to be part of the decision-making process. Once again we are here to get innovative, unique ideas from you to help us provide citizens with the best administration facilities.”
Attendees were shown the planning and program being implemented during a presentation on a big screen installed at the spot. The mayor also assured attendees that she would do her best to hold such an event in the future. On the other hand the present young citizens thanked the Municipality for providing them with this unique opportunity to share and implement their ideas with the municipality’s cooperation.
Social media users appreciated this initiative by the Rustavi administration. One Facebook user reacting to the Mayor’s social media post stated, “Organizing such a miracle in such a short time! There is no question why so many young people and the whole city joined it!.”
