The mayor of the Rustavi city hall Nino Latsabidze visited the site of Tashkent Street. The rehabilitation work is ongoing on this site in full swing.
It is to be specifically mentioned that after the completion of this project another completely renovated street will be added to Rustavi. This is also to be added that the project which is being implemented by Rustavi City Hall involves the complete rehabilitation of Tashkent Street.
To make the arrangements for successful completion before the start of the infrastructure project, the Mayor of Rustavi Nino Latsabidze held a working meeting with all the stakeholders.
This meeting by the Mayor of Rustavi was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Rustavi Kakha Guruli and Besik Togonidze the Sakrebulo faction “Georgian Dream” and representatives of the winning company.
At this stage on the middle lane of Tashkenti Street of the “Rustavservice Center”, the construction work is going on.
As part of the rehabilitation of Tashkent Street a 570-metre-long road section and sidewalks will be renovated including a new drainage network outdoor lighting, irrigation system, bicycle paths, parking, and new municipal transport stops. Recreational benches will be placed in the area. New green spaces are also planned.
As per the available information the cost of the project is 2 994 439 GEL and is being financed from the central budget.
It is worth mentioning that during her visit to the project’s site, she assured the construction company that local authorities would provide all kinds of financial assistance for the early completion of the project.
She also inspected the site plan with the project engineer to get in-depth information regarding this new rehabilitation project. Workers were busy on the site and at the same time a JCB machine was also engaged in by the construction of the company.
After the inspection of the site, Mayor also said that this is an important project being implemented in this unique location. She further said that people would be able to enjoy the world-class housing facility at affordable prices.
Meanwhile, Rustavi city hall management took to their social media page and informed the general public about this development project. Many social media users appreciated the initiative of the administration for the early completion of the project.One user, Levan Metreveli, commented that, “Thank you so much, Mam Mayor”.
