The main musical festival of the municipality “Oxygen Fest ” started in Rustavi. The Danish groups “Outlandish” and “KORDZ” performed at the festival space in Rustavi Park on first day.
It is to be noted that before the beginning of the musical concert , Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze, Rustavi Majority Deputy Irakli Shatakishvili, Parliamentarian Aleksandre Dalakishvili and the founder of Oxygen, musician Lasha Nozadze met and introduced the contents of the festival to the media representatives.
It is also worth mentioning that today Oxygen Fest will host the guests in concert from Stefani and “Sherekilebi group .On July 7 the festival will be closed with the presentation of “Region” and “MURO.” The festival door opens for visitors at 16:00. Here the participants can also find food and beer spaces, exhibitions, and sales of works of local entrepreneurs in the territory.
Notably the festival “Oxygen Fest” was held in Rustavi for the first time in 2022. This year’s festival is unique in its scale and has been going on for more than a month. The festival space is arranged in the Rustavi Park adjacent to the amphitheater and the Rustavi Castle and has been hosting various musical groups and guests since June 1.
Moreover every weekend in June a fish fest was held at the lake in Rustavi Park. The festival space was especially busy during the European Championship on the match days of the Georgian national team when Rustaveli fans gathered around the big screen arranged in the festival area and supported the national team together.
Oxygen Fest is organized by Rustavi City Hall and “Oxygen Fest Space Rustavi” Collectively. The Mayor of the Rustavi city hall, Nino Latsabidze shared glimpses of the event on her social media handles. The festival on the first day witnessed a huge footfall of music lovers from across the different regions of the municipality.
The space was packed with the crowd cheering the performance of their favourite singers and artists. While speaking to the media personnel Mayor said this is a proud moment for all of us as we will reunite to enjoy the fest. The mayor also added that such an event would be held in the future so that the citizens can enjoy and share their quality time.
