The mayor of Sagarejo municipality Avtandil Gulikashvili attended the official opening of one of the outstanding tourist centers, Gradu. The newly opened tourist place is located in the Kochbani village in the mountain area.
The tourist place will have a multifunctional tourist complex and will offer many interesting offers to visitors. It will create a unique impression on any visitor who wants to enjoy the natural beauty of the Georgian villages.
It is worth noting that the project mentioned is the most important in the history of Sagarejo municipality which in itself determines the employment of local residents and the development of tourism.
The Mayor of the municipality Avtandil Gulikashvili also added that “ Its Geographical location in the highland area is important, which will make it easy for tourists from any part of the country.”
The Mayor further added “I know very well that the project implementers have many good plans both in the summer and winter seasons. I want to wish the founders success and a pleasant trip to all visitors to relax in the mountain area of the municipality and make successful business and tourist visits to Sagarejo as well.”
The tourist place has a big swimming pool surrounded by relaxing chairs and incliners. Furthermore, the entire surrounding area is covered by lush green mountains that have the potential to mesmerize any local, regional, or international tourists.
The swimming pool also has provisions for floating beds. The pool also has a floating attraction for children so that they can also enjoy a world-class experience here.
During his visit the mayor was also accompanied by many other municipal officials. They all inspected the newly constructed tourist places closely from every angle. The place’s maintenance staff was also present on these occasions.
The mayor speaking to the media after the visit said that the Municipality is very much concerned about boosting tourism in the area. He also assured that in the future more specific initiatives will be taken in this direction.
