Avtandil Gulikashvili, the Mayor of Sagarejo municipality meets socially vulnerable families. The meeting was held to welcome new year with impressive celebrations.
It is worth to note that many events are being held across the country to celebrate Christmas and welcome new year. The Sagarejo municipality also held a very effective event on this occasion as well.
The glimpses of event also have been shared on the social media handles of the Municipality as well. The official Facebook page of the Municipality stated, “ Barbara, Mariami, Giorgi, Luka, Saba, Lazar, Tsitsi, Emil, Zokhrati. We gave happiness to about 300 children with beautiful gifts also.”
It also added that, “At the initiative of the Mayor of Sagarejo Municipality, Avtandil Gulikashvili, employees of the Education, Culture, Monument Protection, Sports and Youth Service sought information about the New Year’s wishes of children from socially vulnerable large families so that the mayor’s decision would remain a surprise for them.”
After all the basic formalities, the active preparations began and, in a few days, the youth service team completed the purchase of expensive gifts corresponding to the wishes found, wrapped them and distributed them according to the recipients along with the mayor’s greeting messages.
The mayor is his message underlined, “My little friend, I congratulate you on the New Year 2025! I wish your health, strength, longevity and the realization of your goals! Accept this small gift from me as you are the bright future of our municipality and country. “
Mayor also added that, we have decided to make your happiness a priority. To you, the outstanding members of family’s children, we warm your hearts and support you. Believe that good wishes and dreams come true. Dare to make your wishes come true.
The locals people as well as social media user also reacted this development. They lauds the efforts of Mayor and other members of municipality to make the day wonderful for children of poor families also.
