The summary event of the Georgian National League or the 2024 Erovnuli Liga awards ceremony was held in Tbilisi, in the hotel “Radisson Blu Iveria,” on December 10, 2024, Tuesday. At the event, the best players and coaches of the National League and Women’s League of the year 2024 season were announced.
The First Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia Shalva Gogoladze, was present at the event. He announced the winner of the nomination for best midfielder. The award was given to Otar Mamageishvili.
Winners were announced in other nominations, in particular:
Men
- The best goalscorer – Bjorn Johnsen with 23 goals (Kutaisi’s Torpedo”), became the bomber of the National League;
- The best football player – Giorgi Kokhreidze (“Iberia 1999″);
- The best striker – Bjorn Johnsen (Kutaisi’s “Torpedo”);
- The best goalkeeper – David Kereselidze (Gori’s “Morning”);
- The best defender – Giorgi Jgerenaia (Iberia 1999);
- Levan Korghalidze was named the best coach of the National League (“Iberia 1999″);
- The author of the best goal of the season is Tornike Morchiladze.
Women
- Nino Bukhrikidze became the bomber of the Women’s National League (“Nike Luso“, 33 goals);
- The best football player – Anano Tsikaridze (“Nike Luso”);
- Giorgi Chkhaidze (“Lanchkhuti” is the best coach of the Women’s National League).
The awards were given to them with great respect and honor by the first deputy sports minister, Shalva Gogoladze.
The main coaches and players of eight clubs of the Women’s League participated in the survey to find out the favorites of the Women’s League, and the best players and coaches of the National League were revealed by the main coaches and football players of all ten clubs of the National League. Apart from clubs, Georgian fans also participated in the voting process.
2024 Erovnuli Liga
The 2024 Erovnuli Liga is the top-tier football competition in Georgia. The Georgian Professional Football League organizes all home football competitions in the country.Â
