As part of a large-scale exhibition dedicated to Georgian culture and history the play “Firosman” was shown on the stage of the Krakow theater. A large number of the audience were present on the occasion to enjoy the artist’s performance.
It is to be mentioned explicitly that with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia in the “Groteska Theater” of Krakow, Poland the Wandering Moon Theater presented a puppet play “Firosman” based on the life and work of Niko Firosman. The performance was in a large-scale exhibition dedicated to Georgian culture and history “Golden Fleece – Art of Georgia ” in Krakow.
The exhibition was opened in the National Museum of Krakow on April 18 which introduces European visitors to the rich culture of Georgia, the masterpieces of Georgian art and outstanding examples of life and martial arts. The exhibition will last until September 15, 2024. It is also to be added that at the stage many private theaters introduced the life and work of the genius Georgian artist and Georgian cultural values to the European audience.
Nika Luarsabishvili is the author, musical performer and director of the play, the scenographers are Nino Kitia and Irine Khasiashvili, the set designers are Giorgi Totadze, Lela Khachaturov, Levan Baidauri, Nino Kotashvili, Nikoloz Mchedlishvili, Nikalai Amoev, Nanisha Metreveli, Luka Chulukhadze.
The play is voiced by many singers which also includes Levan Tsuladze (Archivarius), Gia Kitia (Meezove), Archil Sulakvelidze (Niko Firosman), Nikoloz Ghugunishvili (Little Niko), Mari Kitia (Niko Firosman’s mother), Nanisha Metreveli (Elisabedi), Alexander Kvezereli (Lado), Nika Luarsabishvili (Dimitra), Mariam Gulashvili (Margarita), Jeji Skhirtladze (Kalantarovi, director of railway and Cafe Shantan).
It is to be noted that the play “Firosman” is one of the winning projects in the Ministry of Culture competition which is “Promoting the creative activity of professional theaters through staging or other expenses.” The hall was packed with music lovers from across the country. The stage was also beautifully decorated with many big-sized images, artwork, and other musical instruments.
