Tbilisi: Caucasus International University(CIU) held a prize distribution ceremony. On this occasion, the winners of the competition “Student life-2023” were awarded. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
It is worth mentioning that under the framework of the Competition, namely “Student Life – 2023 “, different kinds of activities were organised. These included sports and cultural and intellectual activities.A large number of students participated in these activities and explored their hidden potential.
Prize winners of Competition Received awards from Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Rector Kakhaber Kordzaia, Advisor to the Rector Giorgi Pareshishvili, Head of the Youth, Sports and Culture Service Amiran Sanikidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law Giorgi Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology Marika Kldiashvili and the Faculty of Social and Humanities Nana Amiranashvili, the dean of Etti.
Results show that the Department of Business and Technology is the best faculty in the Competition of “Student Life – 2023”. This assessment was made on the different parameters.
Giorgi Khuchua, a student of the Faculty of Law of the International Caucasus University, who recently won the title of the World Champion in Ukrainian National Belt Wrestling, Got the amount of 1000 GEL as a prize for this achievement.
The event also celebrated the victory of Caucasus International University at the large-scale event organised and held by the Georgian University Sports Federation – “Student Festival – 2023”. At that Competition, CIU University won 5 gold, three silver and three bronze medals at this festival.
It is noteworthy. On the same day, their activities and important success stories were summed up by the Caucasus International University Student Government, IntellectClub, Union of Student Clubs (Magnum Opus) and Student-Mentor Institute. The Caucasus International University was awarded medals of gratitude for the promotion and development of student life by the university’s sports, cultural and educational clubs.
The historic event was led by representatives of Youth, Sports and Culture Service Zurab Kavtaria and Bakur Khubulava, President of Student Self-Government Dimitri Khubulava and Head of Student-Mentor Tatia Kokobinadze.
Winning student said they feel happy and proud to receive these prizes and honours from the university. They also said that with the help of the university administration, more success stories would be written by university students in future as well.
