Mtskheta: Ksovrisi village to have new Gym

The municipality of Mtskheta has started building a new Gym in Ksovrisi village. The new Gym will be built according to modern standards and infrastructure.

The creation of the Gym was a long-pending demand of the village’s local population. This was also a demand of the youth who wanted to stay healthy and fit to play sports in the future.

The computerised representative image of the gym showed that this will be one of the best gym in the locality. This will cater to the needs of a large section of people in the area. The parking space for the vehicle has also been arranged.

The construction work is being executed in full swing to complete the work as soon as possible. The construction firm has already completed more than half of the work. The structure of the building has been erected. The roof work is pending and expected to be completed in the next few days as well.

The workers of the construction company are busy completing the task in a short time. Davit Nozadze, the State Commissioner of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti side, the First Deputy Mayor of Mtskheti Municipality and other local government representatives visited the construction site and got acquainted with the project’s progress. They expressed hopes that the work will be completed soon and people will be able to avail the benefits of this sports facility.

It is to be added that the ongoing works include setting up the main competition hall, as well as changing rooms, wet spots, parking, staff rooms, gym rooms and other necessary infrastructure. The building will be adapted for people with disabilities. The project’s budget is financed from the local budget and its total cost is up to 900 000 GEL.

Municipality also took to their social media handle to provide the information in this regard. Davit Nozadze said that the local administration is always committed to providing world-class sports infrastructure to new aspiring players.
