The people of all seven municipalities of the Kvemo-Kartli region of Geogria gathered to watch the Georgia-Turkey football match played in Germany. The match was live-streamed on the big screen. The football team of the Republic of Georgia is participating in the European championship for the first time.
It was a great moment as the fans from all seven municipalities of Kvemo Kartli had the opportunity to watch the Georgia-Turkey match held in the German city of Dortmund via live broadcast. The municipalities of the other regions of the country also made a similar arrangement as there was a great deal of excitement among the Georgian football fans for the first match of the national team at the European championship.
Unfortunately the Georgian team lost the match to Turkey but the players gave a tough fight to the opposite team during the match and played with full might. Now the Georgian national football team will hold another match against the Czech Republic national team on June 22.
The next scheduled matches will be live broadcasted in specially arranged spaces in all seven municipalities of Kvemo Kartli. The football fans lauds the players’ games and cheer at the every move of the Georgian players.
Football fans taking to their social media handles extended their best wishes to the players. They also encouraged them to forget the defeat and prepare well for the next match on June 22 with the Czech Republic team.
People watched every moment of the match and stayed until the end of the match. Most of the Georgian football lovers were present there with the national flag of the country and waving it in joy.
There were also many children accompanied by their parents who came to enjoy the match. At the end of the match people said that despite the team’s defeat they are still hopeful that the team would play well in the next matches and win to bring happiness to the country.
The region’s administration also wished the team well and stated, “Thanks to our hero boys for an impressive and dedicated performance. The battle continues; everything is ahead!.”
