St Kitts and Nevis: A new chapter in the entertainment industry has begun with the grand opening of the island’s first ever permanent amusement park, The Appollo Amusement Paradise. The park is located at the Lime Kiln Commercial Development and is being welcomed as a major step forward for enhancement in the leisure and tourism industry of the federation.
The privately owned amusement park offers a wide array of rides, attractions, and specially designed spaces for families, young people and visitors.
“This is more than just an amusement park, it’s a new chapter in local leisure and tourism,” said one of the organizers. “We wanted to create a space where families can bond, young people can enjoy safe entertainment, and visitors can discover another side of St. Kitts beyond beaches and history.”
The park features carnival style rides, a food court serving both local and international cuisines, live Entertaiment areas for music and cultural shows, and dedicated play zones for children. Special events and seasonal festivals are also planned by the organizers which will take place throughout the year.
Beyond entertainment, the Apollo Amusement Paradise is also expected to create more jobs, support local vendors and enhance the overall tourism offerings of the island. Netizens on social media have also been lauding this new launch calling it a huge success for the twin island’s tourism industry.
A user named Dennis Liburd while sharing her views on social media wrote, “One of the greatest ideas ever. Long overdue. Family entertainment is an essential component of National development. It’s a special investment in kids.”
Another user named Leo stated, “Yeah good idea but they can’t open all year round it’s going to get boring make it a Sumer ting so people can’t get excited when summer comes other in the next 2 years if it open all year round nobody going to go.”
