Georgia: A summary conference: “Project on my lesson,” was opened on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in Kobuleti, Georgia. To summarize the project, a two-day conference is being held on July 9-10.

Many important projects are being implemented with the support of the Adjara government to promote teacher employment, including the program “Project on my lesson,” which was launched in 2023.

The conference was opened by the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara Maya Khajishvili, who emphasized the importance of the teacher’s profession, their motivation, and the work that each of them puts into the learning process. She called on teachers to actively participate in open dialogue, share their views, and play a key role in planning future joint projects that the Ministry will be actively involved in.

David Mchedlishvili, Chairman of the Kobuleti City Council, and Suliko Tebidze, Head of the Adjara Education Foundation, welcomed and congratulated the society gathered at the conference.

The conference aims to bring together program participants and stakeholders to discuss program achievements and evaluate results. Strengthening the teacher network and encouraging collaboration between teachers and schools is also essential.

The conference will create a platform for presenting projects, sharing success stories and innovative teaching techniques, and exchanging ideas. During the conference, a session is also planned to improve the program and determine future directions.

Since 2023, the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara has been overseeing the ‘Project on My Lesson‘ program. This program, designed to aid teachers in achieving national general education goals through diversifying educational activities, is proof of the Ministry’s commitment to the education sector.

At the first stage of the competition, 61 projects were selected to receive funding, a testament to the rigorous selection process. The second stage of the competition, slated to choose 100 projects for the academic year 2024-2025, promises to be equally meticulous and fair.
