Georgia: The roads in the capital city, Tbilisi, and its adjoining areas were cleared of snow, and technical salt was poured. The measures were taken to ensure the uninterrupted movement of transport and the safety of pedestrians during adverse weather conditions.
The Tbilisi City Hall shared the glimpses of the works done by the government on its official Facebook Page on January 2, 2026, Friday. The City Hall also shared a small note about the works along with its glimpses.
In the streets of Tbilisi and adjoining areas, the roads were cleared of snow throughout the night. Employees of “Tbilservi Group” LLC worked 24 hours a day using special equipment.
Technical salt was thrown: on the Nutsubidze plateaus, in the settlement of Tkhinvala, in the village Agarak, in the territory of Lake Lisi; in Tskneti, Akhaldaba, Betania and Telovana, in the area of the 112 building, on the way to the Mukhatpazhadi cemetery; in the settlements of Okrokana, Tsavkisi, Shindisi, Tabakhmela, Kojri and Kikiti; in the village of Didi Lilo, in the small Lilo, in Vazisubani, in the area near Makhata, On the streets of Niabi and Tsaishi; Ortachali and Krtsanisi On the streets, on the new Ortachala-Shindisi road, on Mnatoba and Saakadze streets; in Giorgitsminda, Zahes, Aghmashenebeli street, on Mukhiani buildings, on the territory of Gldani prisons, on the Tbilisi bypass road; in Lotkin settlement, on Khudadovi street, on the road to Tbilisi sea.
