The 21st International Exhibition Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo -2023 was opened in the exhibition centre “ExpoGeorgia” on November 17, 2023, in Tbilisi.
The exhibition was opened by Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Kakha Kakabadze, Director of the Exhibition Center “ExpoGeorgia“, Resan Qikava and Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Kazim Kartali.
Kakha Kakabadze said, “This exhibition is an event with a 21-year history and is the best platform for manufacturers to establish business contacts and introduce their products to a target audience. Every year, the exhibition hosts more and more visitors and participants.”
“The Ministry of Environment and Agriculture is a permanent supporter and partner of the exhibition. I want to point out here that we continue to support all events that promote Georgian products and help our entrepreneurs and farmers increase production and export opportunities,” Kakha Kakabadze noted.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture Solomon Pavliashvili, Minister of Agriculture of Adjara A/R Zaza Shavadze, and representatives of relevant agencies within the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture system.
This year, 70 companies from 8 countries are participating in the Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo exhibition.
The exhibition features agricultural machinery, tar and packaging materials, greenhouse technology and equipment, irrigation systems, laboratory equipment, fertilizers and pesticides, and more. A large number of food industry products are presented at the exhibition.
Visitors can attend the exhibition on November 17-19, 11:00-18:00. Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2023 is held in the 11th pavilion and the surrounding outdoor space.
Parallel to the exhibition, “ExpoGeorgia” hosts various events. International Conference on Agriculture and Food Industry “Plans and Opportunities for Agriculture and Food Industry” was held.
In addition, on November 17-18, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), “Agrobazar” is being held, where visitors have the opportunity to taste and buy high-quality Georgian authentic products (dairy, ham, honey, chilli, churchkhela, jam, ajika, tea and more).
