The Embassy of Israel in Georgia mourned the death of Ilia Nozadze, a Georgian citizen. He was killed in Israel following a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
The Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Hadas Meitzad also extended her condolences to the family of the victim. The ambassador took her social media handles to express her sympathy to the family.
The Ambassador to Georgia Hadas Meitzad in a Tweet stated “It is very tragic to see such a horrific attack. We express our heartful condolences to the family of a Georgian man who became a victim of an attack that also claimed several other lives.”
The terrorists attacked the Jaffa on Tuesday evening. The Ambassador speaking further on the incident said that terrorism is a serious global issue and we need joint efforts to tackle it.
As per her “Terrorism can make anyone victim regardless of ethnicity, religion or age in any part of the world. The Georgia citizen was killed when Palestinian terrorists attacked the Jaffa area of the capital city of Israel, Tel Aviv.”
As per the police version the shooting incident took place on the evening of October 1. The Police officials also called this one of the deadliest attacks in recent years.
Meanwhile a representative of the foreign ministry of Georgia stated “We are working closely with concerned authorities of Israel to receive the latest information. We are also making arrangement to get the body of our citizens back soon.”
It is to be added that the Hamas took the responsibility for this deadly attack. In this attack 16 other people were also injured seriously. The security forces have killed one out of two attacker on the spot in retaliation fiiring.
The other one was seriously injured; both attackers namely Mohammad Mesek and Ahmed Himouni entered Isreal without a proper permit. The IDF (Israel’s defence forces) informed the General Public that they had detained many suspects for further investigation.
The Georgian foreign ministry also made it clear that they will provide every possible assistance to the victim’s family. Moreover we are always there to help the family.
