Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Georgia’s capital city, Tbilisi has inaugurated a new recreational space in the Isani district. The new park has been created on an area of 7.5 hectares.
According to the information made available by the official of Tbilisi City Hall, the park will have all the latest amenities for visitors.
According to the agreement of construction executed between the Tbilisi City Hall and Ace Georgia company, a park was built on an area of 7.5 hectares in the Isani district. This will be established near the “Park Boulevard” residential complex.
Kakha Kaladze inspected the new park today and addressed the people gathered in the park from the stage. During his address he stated “I am very glad that so many young people have gathered and not only young people but people of all ages are there. I am also happy that such a wonderful recreational space was created in the Isani district. This is a perfect example of how business and the municipality can cooperate for better public services.”
The Mayor while speaking further added, I would like to thank Ace Georgia company for cooperating and implementing this very good project. It is really beautiful as it has football and basketball fields, attractions for children, bicycle paths, and green, illuminated space. Now the main thing is to take care of all this and preserve it. We continue to implement such projects. The most important thing is that we have peace in the country.
According to the Mayor, if there had been no peace, it would have been impossible to gather here today and for us to open the park today. Therefore peace is the most important thing, which comes with economic development, strengthening and prosperity of the country.
Representatives of the Tbilisi City Council and the City Hall were also present. More than 10000 saplings were planted to give the park a green look. Bicycle and pedestrian paths, sports and children’s playgrounds, a dog-walking area and other infrastructure necessary for the park were also arranged.
The boulevard’s length is about 1750 meters. The company spent more than 3 million US dollars implementing the project.
