Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi visited the newly rehabilitated park of Mukhiani, the nearest city of Capital. The Mayor was also accompanied by many other ministry representatives and officials as well.
It is worth noting that the City Service of Environmental Protection of Tbilisi City Hall has completed the rehabilitation works of another square in the Gldani district of Mukhiani city near Tbilisi. The finished project was inspected by the Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze together with his deputy Andria Basilaya.
During his address on this occasion, the Mayor said “We built a new park for the public in Mukhiani city. It will be very useful for the local residents. This place was in bad condition, but today, we have such a beautiful space that will attract local residents. I am delighted to come here because everything is neat and beautiful.”
He also stated, “The territory’s irrigation systems and lighting network were organised. A suitable space has been created for people of all ages and everyone can come, relax and have fun. There are also children’s zones. I am glad that we have quickly implemented such an important park project in this district.”
Notably in Mukhiani, adjacent to the N33 building another 9,000 square meters of territory was added, which has increased the recreational space. Currently, the square is 16331 square meters. It is to be noted that as part of the rehabilitation work the children’s and sports fields, a recreation pavilion, lighting and video surveillance systems and a fountain were arranged.
Moreover the necessary measures for greening the area have also been carried out. At the same time an irrigation system was organized in the territory, a mixture of fertile soil was introduced, 701 saplings of various species were planted and a 10200 square meter area was planted with grass.
Besides the Mayor the newly rehabilitated square was inspected by Paata Togonidze, the head of the city environmental protection service Besik Kaladze, acting governor of Gldani district, members of the Tbilisi City Council namely Konstantine Zarnadze, Shalva Ogbaidze and Vladimir Bozhadze.
