Tbilisi, Georgia: A 2,300 sq. m. square in the Vazisubani settlement of Isani district, located near Noe Ramishvili Street N22-26, has been fully rehabilitated and opened for residents. The upgraded space now offers modern infrastructure and green areas for families and community use.
The Tbilisi City Hall shared the glimpses of the rehabilitated square on its official Facebook page on September 12, 2025. The City Hall also shared a small note along with its glimpses.
The mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, visited the site along with his deputy Irakli Bendeliani and got acquainted with the works. The Tbilisi Mayor noted, “I’m happy to be able to implement these types of projects.
In recent years,
Tbilisi City Hall has been prioritizing the rehabilitation of old and abandoned public spaces, aiming to create modern, safe, and family-friendly environments. The Vazisubani project is a continuation of this initiative, reflecting the city’s commitment to sustainability and improving residents’ quality of life.
“Nothing works for our city like green spaces. Our goal is to enter every district and implement similar projects. Thanks to the local community for their involvement in dismantling unused sheds and fencing,” he added.

Within the framework of the works, children’s and rest areas were arranged and installed. Lighting network with LED lights, the area was lined with decorative tiles, and landscaping works were carried out.
In addition, a mini football field, a bicycle path, and a parking space have been set up in the area of the square. Also, all the other infrastructure needed for the square was placed.
The project was funded by 703,508 GEL from the budget of the Board. Along with the mayor of
Tbilisi, Giorgi Rcheulishvili, acting governor of Isani district, and the deputy of the parliament, Nikoloz Elisashvili, were present.
