Georgia: The Minister of State of Georgia Tea Akhvlediani opened a training seminar on “Strengthening women’s participation in the civil integration process” on Friday, March 7, 2025.
It is worth noting that the training- seminar was opened within the framework of the Civic Integration School. At the seminar’s opening, the Georgian state minister addressed the participants with a welcome speech.
The Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality shared glimpses of the training seminar on its official Facebook page on March 7. The Ministry also shared some details of the seminar along with its photographs.
According to the details shared by the State Minister’s Office it should be noted that the three-day training seminar of the Civic Integration School of the Minister of State’s Office was attended by women from different professions from municipalities populated by ethnic minorities of Samtshe-Javakheti, Lower Kartli, and Kakheti regions.
It should also be noted that, in the welcoming speech, Tea Akhvlediani highlighted the role and effective participation of women in the process of civil equality and integration, regardless of their nationality.
Notably, during the seminar, 30 participants will receive comprehensive and detailed information on topical issues such as civil equality, media literacy, euro integration, women’s rights, health and social protection government programs, and other supporting mechanisms.
The meeting was held in a discussion mode, the Minister of State answered the questions of the participants of the seminar and listened to their views on increasing the capacity of women’s involvement in the process of civic integration.
At the event, the state minister delivered a speech. She pointed out in her speech that these events involve women from various ethnic backgrounds and professions residing in the Samtshe-Javakheti, Lower Kartli, and Kakheti regions, aiming to strengthen women’s empowerment and enhance their involvement in civil integration efforts.
“The program aimed at expanding opportunities for our non-Georgian-speaking population Towards improvement of welfare,” added the Georgian Minister of State Tea Akhvlediani.
