Training on Ethical Hacking Held at Kutaisi International University

The Kutaisi International University held a training session on “Ethical hacking. ” Almost 50 cyber-security experts attended the session and shared their experiences with students.

As per the information made available by the university administration, this Ethical hacker training course is for those who have already mastered the basics of cybersecurity.

Moreover upon successful completion of the course applicants will move on to the next level and take a practical course on ethical hacking. At the same time it is worth mentioning that practical training courses on ethical hacking are the adaptation of e-commerce Council (EC Council) relevant courses.

The aim of the project is to help the training of qualified and economically competitive specialists in the field of cybersecurity. The training course is fully funded by KIU, USAID’s “Employers for Professional Education” program.

The term ethical hacking is widely used in the cyber world today. It involves using the legal method to gain access to someone’s electronic devices.

With the advent of information technology, cyber-attacks have also grown. Sometimes hackers use these attacks for anti-national activities as well.

Since the introduction of Artificial Intelligence the regulation of cyberspace has become more important.

It is to be added that ethical hacking uses strategies to identify security vulnerabilities that hackers can use to gain unauthorised access to devices.

The experts who work in ethical hacking are also known as the “white hats. ” They perform various assessments on computer networks.

Similarly, they introduced methods to curb the threat of cyber attacks as well. It is also the duty of the ethical hackers to keep the data secure of the user. Any leakages of personal or important data of the citizens can turn into a big threat to the security of the region, persons, community, etc.

In other words ethical hacking means legal but unauthorised access to someone’s account to check the vulnerability of data and other important information.
