A new N2 Kindergarten was opened in Telavi yesterday. The school will be able to accommodate 180 students and provide world-class education facilities.
As the construction work has been completed the students now can avail all kindergarten services at new school. As per information the new kindergarten is designed for 180 children, moreover it is equipped with all kind of modern standards and  meets  established norms required for class one educainal facility.
The building is adapted for students with disabilities and children with special educational needs. This is an important provision that makes the building easily accessible for people with special needs.
It is worth noting that this new educational facility will also have bedrooms, changing,administrative rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, laundry, an elevator  and evacuation stairs. The yards have very spacious playgrounds with many swings, slides, and other attractive things for outdoor activities.
On Monday Mzia Giorgobiani Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia attended the kindergarten’s opening events. The Minister was accompanied by Davit Tabidze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Giorgi Aladashvili State Trustee in Kakheti Region.
The Member of Parliament  Irakli Kadagishvili, Telavi Municipality Mayor Levan Andriashvili and local government representatives graced the event with their esteemed presence. It should be noted that the new kindergarten was built with the co-financing of the “Pilot Regions Integrated Development Program” and the local budget. From beginning to completion  a total of 3346011 GEL was spent on the kindergarten project.
The Minister and other visiting dignitaries personally visited each room. They also interacted with school teachers and received their feedback and suggestions for improving the level of education facilities in school.
At the same time all the visting members  had interaction with students. They motivate them to study with dedication. The Minister  reiterated that Government is always ready to take more such step for upliftment of standard of education. The similar view were expressed by the Mayor as well.
