The Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture Tengiz Nasaridze and NFB Bora Turan Managing Director of International Consulting Company signed the document of the agreement on the preparation of the socio-economic reservoir and safety assessment of Khorkhori, Mtis, Yakublo, Pantiani, and Narekvavi waterfalls.
“For the first time in the history of independent Georgia, such a scale project is being implemented. This project is of special importance in providing irrigation water to agricultural lands of our country,” – said Tengiz Nasaridze.
It should be noted that the main area of NFB of an international consulting company is socio-economic documentation, detailed projecting, environmental assessment, hydraulic modeling, early warning system, flood management plan preparation for wells, hydroelectric power plants, river pools, irrigation, and drinking water systems.
The company has a lot of experience in working on scaffolding. Various studies have been prepared by the company on more than 12 large-scale dams, including the Kaynarca Dam (Turkey) dam, which is 116.50 meters high and has, a volume of 189.92 km. The dam is used for irrigation, drinking water, and energy purposes; Düzbag Dam (Turkey) Dam, a height of 169 meters and, a volume of 182.52 km. The cockroach is also used for irrigation, drinking water, and energy purposes.
Tengiz Nasaridze mentioned this project in his latest Facebook post. The Country people also interacted with the minister by commenting on his post.
