Georgia: The Georgian national football team held the first match of the UEFA One League for the 2024-25 season at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium. Georgian footballers hosted the Czechs and defeated the opponent 4:1.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Minister of Culture and Sports Thea Tsulukiani, Mayor of Tbilisi Kakhi Kaladze, government members, and parliament members were present at the match between Georgia and the Czech Republic.
The score was opened in the 33rd minute with a penalty executed by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The first half of the match ended in favor of the national team, with a score of 1:0.
In the second half, Giorgi Chakvetadze led Georgia in the 53rd minute. Giorgi Mikautadze increased the advantage of the national team to three balls, and in the door of the Czechs, Giorgi Kochorashvili scored the fourth ball in the 66th minute; in the 80th minute, Lukash Kalvakh scored one ball from the Czechs.
