Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Culture and Sports, Thea Tsulukiani attended the VI World Forum of the Intercultural Dialogue in Azerbaijan.

Georgian Minister of Culture and Sports, Thea Tsulukiani, played a pivotal role at the VI World Forum of Intercultural Dialogue in Azerbaijan, an event of global importance. The Forum, inaugurated by the esteemed President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliev, was conducted under the auspices of the Bako Process.

The three-day Forum witnessed a diverse gathering, with representatives from 110 countries in attendance. The participants included ministers of culture, religious leaders, international organizations, experts in the field, scientists, and politicians, all united in their commitment to intercultural dialogue.

The forum discussion was on “Dialogue for peace and global security: cooperation and interaction.”

During the panel discussion, the Georgian Minister of Culture and Sports addressed representatives of 110 countries, discussing Georgian political, cultural, and religious values and the importance of close and peaceful cooperation with the world’s nations.

The VI World Forum, a platform dedicated to fostering dialogue among cultures, delved into pressing global issues. The panel discussions covered a wide range of topics, including cross-cultural communication and global security, cultural heritage preservation, cultural and tourist routes, interfaith dialogue, climate change, illegal migration, and collaborative strategies to address AI challenges.

For information, The “Bako Process,” within which the VI World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue is being held, was founded by the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2008. It serves as a platform to promote close cooperation with international partners and foster intercultural dialogue.

International organizations’ reports and decisions have noted several times the success of the “Bako Process.” It has played an invaluable role in promoting intercultural dialogue, fostering understanding, and facilitating cooperation among nations.

It is important that the UN General Assembly has passed a resolution stating that the Baku Forum is a major global platform to promote intercultural dialogue. At the same time, UNESCO’s Executive Council passed a resolution supporting the “Baku Process” and urging all its member states and influential international organizations to cooperate closely.
