Georgia: The Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia, Thea Tsulukiani, visited the repair and rehabilitation works of a sports complex in the village of Dighomi.
The Ministry of Culture, a key supporter of the project, has enlisted the services of ‘SportsmenService‘ as the contractor for the repair and rehabilitation works.
The former sports complex’s territory was in serious condition and was handed over to the Ministry in May 2023. Rehabilitation is underway, including a one-story multifunctional gym, a mini-football stadium, and a two-story sports complex with two gyms. Works according to the schedule are being successfully carried out.
Within the project’s scope, a one-story gym has already been renovated. At this stage, the complete reconstruction of the mini-football stadium is underway; a two-story building will be renovated, including dressing rooms and administration rooms. Lighting and heating systems will be updated, and new flooring will be installed. The hall mentioned is multifunctional, and it will be possible to practice different sports.
With the support and initiative of the Ministry of Culture, in March this year, Sportsmenservice” Ltd., on the basis of an electronic tender, signed a contract with industrialist Ruben Lutidze, after which 3440 sq.m. of repair-rehabilitation works started on the sports complex of M area, the cost of which is 1 120 910 GEL.
The repair and rehabilitation works, a significant step towards the revitalization of the sports complex, are expected to be completed at the end of August this year.
