In a very interesting match played in Senak City the students of the Ghulelebi and Dzhebot schools won a badminton match. The students of the many other schools also participated in the event.
According to the decision of Tianeti Municipality Mayor Levan Tsiklauri the winning sportsmen and their teachers will receive a monetary award of 1000 (thousand) GEL each as a gift. Moreover the winner will also receive professional badminton rackets as a gift.
The final match was played on Wednesday and the final games of the school sports Olympiad were held in the city of Senak. In these games the teams of students from the public schools of the village of Ghulelebi and the village of Dzhebot competed and won interesting victories for their respective categories. They also received appreciation from the sports lovers of the locality.
The mayor of Tianeti Municipality Levan Tsiklauri, the Deputy State Commissioner of Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Gocha Kavtaradze, school principals, teachers, parents, and friends were present at the Georgian championship, especially to support the children from Tianeti municipality in the Republic of Georgia.
While encouraging the players of the match, the Mayor of the Tianeti municipality, Levan Tsiklauri, stated, “I would like to proudly note that two teams from our small Tianeti became the champions of Georgia. I congratulate each student and their teachers, who spared no effort waste to achieve this result. I also congratulate the students’ parents, schools, and Tianeti. I wish our athletes further success so they can also make out municipality.”
It is worth noting that the students of the public school of Zaridzebi village also competed successfully in the school sports Olympiad, becoming the champions of Eastern Georgia in volleyball and taking second prize in the Georgia championship.
