Levan Tsiklauri, the Mayor of the Tianeti Municipality of Georgia visited the newly constructed stadiums. Two new stadiums have been built in the Gorana and Simoniantkhevi of the Municipality.
It is worth noting that the municipal administration has planned many development works, including the creation of these world-class modern stadiums equipped with the latest sports services.
During his visit the Mayor executed the work of artificial surfaces in Gorana and Simoniantkhevi. The mayor of Tianeti also met with school students and teachers and gave football and basketball balls to the children as gifts.
During his visit the Mayor also addressed the event attendees. According to him, “It is important for us to promote a healthy lifestyle. We try to encourage children to do sports, and I am especially pleased with their determination and success.”
The Mayor while speaking further also added “It is worth noting that this year, at the request of the young people, we built a sports ground in the village of Duluzauri and the works are now underway in the township of Tianeti.At the same time we arranged tribunes and outdoor lighting in the Simoniantkhevi and Gorana villages. The builder has already completed the work provided for in the contract.”
Notably Energy Pro-Georgia will ensure the project’s connection to the grid within the specified period. As per available information the tribunes were also arranged at the artificial covered stadium of the village of Ghulelebi. Earlier due to the absence of the tribunes the spectators were inconvenient.
We are very committed to Tianeti’s overall development. The construction and rehabilitation of sports infrastructure in Tianeti municipality is one of our priorities and we will continue to do so in the future,” said Levan Tsiklauri.
The children who received the footballs were very happy and thanked the Mayor and other officials for providing a world-class sports facility in the area.
The Mayor also extended his best wishes to the all-new players and wished them success in the future. The Municipal official also shared glimpses of the event on their different social media handles.
