Adjara, Georgia, April 24, 2024:Â At a meeting of the Adjara government, the chairman, Tornike Rizhvadze, addressed the population. He noted that at the public meeting planned for April 29, it will be apparent where the Georgian people stand, who value national traditional values: homeland, language, and faith.
“We all must preserve and protect those values, which in recent history, in 2012 under the leadership of Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, saved by the “Georgian Dream” and which our ancestors sacrificed to protect. We will not allow suspicious and often black money-funded organizations and entities of uncertain orientation to take control of the fate of the Georgian people and the future of our children. Therefore, let’s stand together again and show the world where Georgian people stand, for whom the peaceful development of our country based on human dignity is important,” remarked Tornike Rizhvadze.
The government chairman discussed the progress of significant projects for the region. Construction of the Khulo-Zarzmi road is actively underway. This historically important project will improve the social and economic conditions of the people of the highland Adjara.
Batumi will have new Olympic standards, an ice castle, and a swimming pool. The new ice rink will host the Youth Winter Olympics in 2025.Â

The second phase of the construction of the “City of Dreams” is at the conclusion stage, and from next month, the transfer of apartments to the residents will begin step by step—”582 families will be satisfied with apartments.” I am thrilled that the children who have been waiting for years to implement this project will make their dreams come true,” Tornike Rizhvadze said.
Complimentary processing of Khnav-Satesi areas continues. Under the program 2024, 2170 hectares will be developed, creating more resources for farmers.
