Samtredia, Georgia: The rapid development of tourism in Samtredia has recently increased interest in the municipality. People from all over the world are coming there for better experiences.
Samtredia’s strategic proximity to Kopitnari Airport, the unique and diverse tourist locations, and the well-developed infrastructure are attracting and promoting emerging tourist companies in the local market.
The visitors from Argentina and Poland, guided by the tourist company ‘nomads4x4’, were treated to a one-of-a-kind experience at Sanikidze’s cellar in Samtredia Municipality.
The cellar owner, Beka Sanikidze, gave an interesting presentation to the guests and talked in detail about the purpose of the cellars, Georgian grape varieties, their care, grape finishing, and wine setting. He also paid attention to welcoming tourist groups.
Visitors checked out the wonderfully landscaped courtyard, vineyard, cellar, and wine bar. Pay attention to Georgian national accessories used in winemaking.
Foreign guests were joined by the municipality mayor, David Bakhtadze, a seasoned leader with a strong vision for tourism development, and the deputy chairman of the city council, Vazha Sturua, a key figure in the local tourism industry.
The tour participants praised the Marani owner and the municipality’s mayor for their warm hospitality. They noted that the Marani fully met the conditions for tourists and expressed their optimism for future cooperation and tourism development.
Davit Bakhtadze said, “It is very pleasant, and such visits are of the utmost importance for tourism development. We systematically negotiate with tour operators and present at different tourist locations in the municipality. We are actively cooperating with this company as well. Sanikidze’s cellar is a tourist attraction. The best will always be done for the development of tourism.”
