The construction of two kindergartens has been completed in Lagodekhi Municipality. The new kindergartens, designed for 50 children have been equipped with all latest modern-day facilities.
The new kindergarten has well maintained bedrooms, playrooms, changing rooms and administrative rooms. At the same time, it also has a kitchen, a dining room, a laundry2 room, an elevator and evacuation stairs so that students can get world level educational experiences also.
The kindergarten has also arranged recreational spaces and playgrounds have been equipped in the courtyards. These facilities have been arranged for urging the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, better sports facilities at school level can play a bigger role for students to explore their hidden talent in sports filed as well.
The facilities of the kindergartens are fully adapted for people with disabilities. This disables friendly infrastructure will also make the kindergartens accessible to more people of the locality also.
The project of kindergarten construction was implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
This school construction works are being executed under the framework of the “Construction and Rehabilitation of Kindergartens” state program, the project was financed with 2.3 million GEL from the state budget.
Meanwhile In the Kakheti region, in total the construction of 4 kindergartens and the rehabilitation of 1 kindergarten have been completed within the framework of the 32-kindergarten construction and rehabilitation project.
The officials of municipality further added that, the projects within the framework of the “Construction and Rehabilitation of Kindergartens” program, funded by the state budget with 74 million GEL, the program envisages the construction and rehabilitation of 885 kindergartens across the country.
The newly established 885 kindergartens across the country will give a big boost to education sector of country as well. The Georgian ministry of education while highlighting the importance of improved infrastructure said that more such steps will be taken in future also to provide world class educational facilities.
