Russia-Ukraine War: The Ukrainian forces have recently recovered a rare Russian Granat-4 reconnaissance UAV that had fallen out. This is the first of its kind loss to the Russian side in the ongoing conflict against Ukraine. Kremlin has been indulged in aerial attacks over the cities of Ukraine for the past few months now.
Russia has ruthlessly blown the civilian infrastructure using drones, which Ukraine has earlier claimed to be the Kamikaze, the Iran-made drones. The key infrastructure in Ukraine has been the major target of Russian missiles. However, the Russian, as well as the Irani officials, have dismissed all such accusations, calling them to be baseless.
Recently, the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and strategically significant Kharkiv city were rocked with a barrage of Russian artillery strikes. The aerial strikes had left the city totally disconnected from the electricity and power supplies. Following the hit over the energy infrastructure, the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, announced scheduled blackouts. At least 3,50,000 apartments were left out to suffer from the electricity and water crisis.
Similar attacks were also reported in the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the neighbouring regions with the plant. The clashes near the plant have been persistent since the beginning of the Russian invasion. The Zaporizhzhia plant, since then, has been operating under the supervision of the Russian forces.
