The members, representative and office bearers of United Nation Development Fund Georgia has shared their journey to different region of country . They call this visit to other region of country as best opportunity to know problems of public.
UNDP Georgia while taking to social media handles shared success story of their members. On the official Facebook page of UNDP they stated that, “Together with our Norwegian partners, we travelled to Akhmeta and Duisi, where we met with local NGOs and community organizations and discussed the challenges and opportunities of civil society.”
It is worth to mention that the representatives of four organizations participated in the meetings held in Akhmeta. These four organisation includes Kakheti Regional Development Fund (KRDF), Partnership for Human Rights (PHR), Euroclub of Kvareli and Udi of Georgia.
According to members, in Duisi they met with representatives of the Women’s Council of Elders and graduates of vocational education programs. The conversation with these outstanding women once again convinced them that education makes a huge contribution to local development and economic and social success.
It is also worth to note that the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, the Norwegian Agency for Development and Cooperation (Norad), the Norwegian Embassy in Georgia and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) attended the meetings. They also shared their experience and opinions about the problems.
It is also to be note that with the support of the Norwegian Government, a number of important initiatives are being implemented in Georgia, including local projects that serve to protect human rights, respect diversity and increase the well-being of local communities.
The UNDP Georgia has launched many project for social welfare of Georgian people. Moreover, the under this important program many development work are also being executed.
Notably beside development and welfare project many other social welfare program are also under process with help of Georgian , regional and international organisation also.
