The different brigades of Georgian army are organising Christmas and new year event for children of army personals. The fourth infantry brigade has now held a such event at Vaziani military base of Georgia.
The event was very impressive which was enjoyed by large number of people. The male and female soldiers came to this event along with their families’ members and young children.
The information about this successful entertainment event was shared on different social media handles by Georgian Defence forces. The glimpses of musical and other activates were a shared on official Facebook page of the defence forces of Georgia.
The Facebook page of defence forces stated, “A New Year event was held for the children of military personnel at the base of the Fourth Infantry Brigade in Vaziani. Deputy Minister of Défense Grigol Giorgadze and Commander of the Défense Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, congratulated the children of deceased, wounded and active military personnel for Christmas and New Year.”
It is worth to note that many entertainment activities and performance were also given by the famous local and national folk artists of Georgia. Georgian singers, fairy-tale characters and animators took care of the children’s New Year’s mood.
At the same time a New Year’s village was also organized at the military base, where Santa Claus distributed bags full of sweets to the children of military personnel as gifts. The children also participated in various entertainment activities. Moreover, they had the opportunity to have their faces painted with imaged of Georgian national flags, military logo, Christmas logo etc as well.
Notably such events are held every year. The new year’s events for the children of military personnel are organized and supported by the Ministry of defence. Events have already been hosted by the 1st Infantry Brigade in Gori and the 3rd Infantry Brigade in Kutaisi, the 2nd Infantry Brigade in Senaki.
