Tbilisi: An impressive musical event was held in the Merab Kostava Square in the capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi. The event was organised with the initiative of the Youth Training Centre namely “For Our Borjomi”.
It should be noted that the event was held successfully with the financial support of the Borjomi Municipality and the company “IDS Borjomi Georgia.” The colourful festival lasted two days and drew a large audience from across the country.
As part of the festival both sports and cultural events were held. The festival arranges several sports activities including a football and chess championship and an exhibition of painting work.
The event included a plein-air, flash mob competition, which mesmerized everyone present. Moreover a March by the “Drum School” band was organized. Notably the Gala concerts were held with the participation of Georgian pop and opera singers.
Famous Georgian performers like Temo Sajaia, Salome Bakuradze, Elene Pochkhua, Datuna Mgeladze, Tsira Kobiashvili the group “Street Boys” “Rezo and Children” and DJ Aleksandre Lortkifanidze participated in the event to entertain all the audiences.
The administration of Borjomi City Council took to their social media handles to share glimpses of the event. It was a great attraction for the little students who came there with their parents or other family members.
The entire event venue was decorated with colourful lights, balloons and other materials. Attendees appreciated the performances of all the singers who sang many traditional folk songs. Everyone was excited to be part of this social gathering.
The food stalls attracted attendees offered traditional delicious dishes from across the country especially those that were very famous in rural areas.
The organizers of the event are grateful for people’s visits. Notably such music or cultural festivals help people spend quality time together.
This also gave them the opportunity to learn and share new information with each other. Locals also thank the administration for such a wonderful event.
