Poti, Georgia:Â The municipality of Poti has started a funding program to support youth initiatives. The program aims to create and implement initiatives aimed at young people aged 14 to 29 registered in the municipality.Â
The project will promote the implementation of activities focused on the interests and challenges of young people in Poti City.
Non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities have the right to participate in the financial assistance (financing/co-financing) program for young people registered/temporarily living in the Poti municipality’s territory to support youth initiatives.
The minimum number of young people in the target group within the funding/co-financing program for the support of youth initiatives must be at least 25.
To participate in the financial assistance (financing/co-financing) program, the interested person must present:
- statement in the name of the mayor;
- Application Application Application initiative/project application (information about the organization, completed application form, and budget form (by the attachments);
- Other documentation that demonstrates the need for financing the initiative (if any);
- extract of the applicant organization from the National Public Registry Agency;
- Copy of applicant’s identity card/identification code;
- Bank details of the applicant organization.
Funding/co-funding of the initiative/project presented in the City Hall should be done with at least 1000 (one thousand) and at most 9,000 (nine thousand) GEL.
In the case of initiatives/projects worth more than 4000 (four thousand) GEL, the City Hall will implement co-financing, which will be at most 80% of the total cost of the initiative/project.
In the case of the self-governments of Poti’s public and private schools, the initiative/project submitted to the City Hall should be financed with 1000 (thousand) GEL.
Five projects will be implemented during the year. The application deadline is September 30, 2024, and the program’s implementation deadline is December 20, 2024.
