New York: The twenty Georgian companies having owners and manufacturers of different products have participated in the Summer Fancy Food Show 2024 in New York. This is the second time when Georgian companies are attending their products at this world-famous event.
It is worth mentioning that the event was organized by the “Make in Georgia” agency of the Government of Georgia and 18 Georgian companies displayed their special products for the second time. This is the second time in a row that witnessed the participation of Georgian companies in the annual exhibition of food and beverage products, Summer Fancy Food Show 2024.
On this occasion the Georgian companies while showing their unique products also introduced the origin of the products to the visitors. Moreover these companies also introduced to customers the names of authentic Georgian products.
Some of these organic products include honey, nuts, stews, sauces, juices, spices, tea, alcoholic beverages, and others. According to estimates, a large number of people visited the event. There were almost 47,000 professionals who visited the event to get detailed information about the products . The event was attended by five thousand people who participated from 57 different countries.
Notably at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2024 thousands of local and international visitors showed interest in the Georgian pavilion. On the same occasion Georgian companies held up to 250 B2B meetings with international buyers to expand the markets for Georgian products within the event’s framework.
The American, Canadian, and Australian market players showed their interest in Georgian products. There was also a dedicated stall showcasing organic products from Georgia with medicinal properties. Some companies also set up their own counters like “Georgian Hazelnut Corporation.”
People visited the site and inquired about the products of their choice. The companies participating in this event shared the information on their social media handles, where social media users praised the government for promoting Georgian products to expand the market at the world level.
