The chairman of the Georgian party Irakli Gharibashvili criticized the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili for pardoning Lazare Grigoriadis. He termed this move of the president as an anti-state act.
GD’s party chairman said “With this act of pardon to Lazare Grigoriadis,President threw a “Molotov cocktail” at a police officer and this is an anti-state action”.
While strongly rejecting the act of President GD’s Chairman said this would send a wrong message. Moreover this will be a humiliation for the members of the police force and other enforcement agencies.
Irakli Gharibashvili further said “I don’t know what has forced the president to make such a wrong decision. This is without any legal reason and illogical as well. The person who threw a “Molotov cocktail” at our proud policeman and tried to burn our hero policeman alive does not deserve any mercy. Everyone has seen these footages the whole country and the whole world have seen these footages in which accused was doing this heinous crime”.
This man admitted his illegal act and threw a Molotov cocktail at a police officer. But the president announced to pardon him. This is of course an anti-state action. The President has completely forgotten the Constitution and she does not respect our country, people, and voters. She betrayed not only our voters our party, our people, and our country but she betrayed our police and insulted our police. How this woman can continue to do this which is a great shame in my eyes, it’s a crime against the police”chairman added.
Act of Salome Zurabishvili is immoral and now she threw a “Molotov cocktail” at the policeman with this pardon, That is why our people will answer Salome Zurabishvili in the future when she has to face the general public. In a few months she will no longer be our president and will be recorded as a “Molotov cocktail” propitiator, shooter, and accomplice of this great crime, it is shameful and a crime!”- said Gharibashvili.
