Georgia: Under the leadership of Georgian Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Gela Geladze, an organizational group meeting was held to discuss issues related to preparing for the 2024 exams.

During the meeting, the group members discussed the action plan and specific tasks that each organization involved in the logistics part of the exams should fulfill. The conversation touched upon the provision of ambulance and fire aid, transportation, and other important issues.

It is worth noting that pre-exam preparation is actively underway at the National Assessment and Examination Center (NAEC) – distributing applicants and providing the materials needed for exams according to exam centers has begun.

The selection testing of supervisors, curators, and assistants of Tbilisi exam centers has been completed. Curators and assistants of regional centers will be selected in the near future through testing. The Special Commission, together with experts and the relevant service of the Center, is reviewing the statements on special conditions in parallel mode.

Exam centers will also operate in 12 cities this year: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Telavi, Gori, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Poti, Ozurgeti, Batumi, Akhaltsikhe, Khulo, and Ambrolauri.

For Unified National Exams, Student Grant Competition, Common Master’s Exam, and Teacher’s Exam, up to 80,000 applicants are registered.

In 2024, the exam process will begin with unified national exams on July 3, and those registered for subject and special teacher exams will participate in the process from July 5.
