The city council of Tbilisi recently met. At this meeting, it decided to enhance the budgetary allocation for the capital, which has been increased by 1 million 490 thousand GEL.
Giorgi Tkemaladze , the chairman of the city council, praised the meeting. The proposal about the budget presented by the head of the financial city service, Gaioz Talakvadze, was also discussed in detail during this meeting.
The session also discussed changes in the resolution N84-64 of the City Council of July 2, 2021, the purpose of which is to make the definitions of terms more understandable, to clarify the criteria for inclusion in the sub-program, to add more clarity to the application review and financing procedures, and to legally regulate the formation and production of the electronic register of cases.
Sergo Birkadze, head of the City Legal Service, presented two issues at the City Council meeting: “Regarding the introduction of gaming business fee in Tbilisi Municipality” amendment to the City Council resolution and “Project on the foundation of a non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entity “City Blood Transfusion Station.”
At the same time, Irakli Tavartkiladze, the head of the State Property Management Agency, presented his report about the various issues. These issues are related to privatizing real estate through direct disposal and transferring land plots through leases through direct disposal.
On the other hand, during the same event, at the same session of the City Council, the participants of the meeting discussed the issue of completing the unfinished constructions at several addresses, which has been raised for a long time.
They also agreed on the various measures that will be taken to fulfill the obligations to the affected persons. It is worth mentioning that the participants of the meeting also discussed the plans for the rehabilitation and replacement of dilapidated buildings and structures.
These buildings and structures that need rehabilitation are located on Marat Nozadze Street. They further declared the ordinance of the City Council , which is related to the agreement of the measures to be taken on the plot of land on Railway Street, invalid.
