Rustavi, Georgia: The mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze visited the Rustavi kindergartens and talked about the educational process of 2025 with even more updates and modern services.
The mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze shared glimpses of her visit on her official Facebook page on January 15, 2025. Along with the photographs, she shared a short note about the educational process of 2025.
The mayor wrote, “Rustavi kindergartens meet the educational process of 2025 with even more updated and modern services. We are actively working on improving the infrastructure, first of all, and today 2 new kindergartens are being built in Rustavi and two of them are being fully rehabilitated, which is the great support of the Prime Minister.”
According to the information shared by the mayor, academician Shalva Amonashvili’s human pedagogy technique is being applied in Rustavi kindergartens to establish contemporary services that are centered on the best interests of the child. To this end, 600 instructors have already received training.
Every psychologist and special educator who works with students has received inclusive education training. The children’s meal is created by state regulations and nutritionists’ recommendations.
It should also be noted that, from 2025, Rustavi City Hall will develop another new social program. The City Hall will finance a scholarship of 200 GEL to Rustaveli, who works with children with special needs, and who will participate in the relevant curriculum.
It was discussed that 23 branches of Rustavi Kindergarten Union, serve up to 6000 Rustavi children, at this stage, there are about 1000 people employed in kindergartens and their wages have increased by about 45% in the last 3 years.
To renew the infrastructure, at this stage, two new kindergartens are being built in Rustavi and two complete rehabilitations are underway.
