The national wine agency will participate in various regional and international events to promote wine export. The wine agency is all set to attend events scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Madrid, Paris in current year.
As per representatives of wine agency the in first of all agency will participate in event at Japanese capital Tokyo. Similarly, agency will attend another international wine event at Madrid, the capital of Spain as well as event at Frech capital Paris.
Many Georgian wine agencies will attend these international events with active support of the National Wine Agency. At the Madrid Fusión 2025 Gastro Congress in the Spanish capital Madrid Georgian wine tasting-seminar will be organsies.
The Georgian stand at Madrid Fusión 2025 will be managed by the National Tourism Administration of Georgia. Here Georgian wine will be presented together with Georgian gastronomy show.
On the other hand in early February 2025, Georgian wine companies will participate in another international wine festival at Paris. The RAW Wine International Natural Wine Exhibition and the Vine Expo Paris International Wine and Spirits Exhibition will be held in the French capital Paris where wine agency will participates as well.
It is worth to note that with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, in 2025 Georgian wine will be actively represented in the   strategic markets of many countries. The some of countries where Georgian wine will be presented includes United States of America Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Baltic countries, China, South Korea and Japan.
Moreover over besides these countries  Georgian wine producers will also participate in all major international wine and alcoholic beverage exhibitions across the globe. Notably in  2025, the promotion of Georgian wine in international strategic markets will continue with an increased budget.
An amount of 17.4 million GEL has been reserved for wine promotion This year the this amount is  1.4 million GEL higher than the similar budget of last year.
It is also noteworthy that last year, a record 565 million USD in revenues were received from the export of wine and alcoholic beverages, This was also  24% higher than the similar data of 2023  of wine export revenue.
