In Khashuri, the construction of the Upper Seri Forest Park and the road to the park are actively continuing. The Mayor of Khashri visited the site and got acquainted with his colleagues about the progress of the project.
The mayor of Khasuri city in Georgia, Tengiz Chitiashvili shared the glimpses of his visit to the construction site and the construction works. The Mayor also shared a small note about the ongoing works along with its photographs.
According to the information shared by the Khashuri Mayor, it should be noted that at this stage, the space for wedding ceremonies is being arranged. Basketball, tennis, and football courts are being built within the third stage of construction.
The development of Zemo Seri Forest Park is not completed by this – the fourth phase is planned, within which an administrative building will be built, children’s attractions will be added, an exhibition pavilion for local entrepreneurs, sculptures of national theme characters, a monument of the Georgian alphabet, and walking paths.
The construction of the road to the forest park is also underway in parallel mode. This road goes to Bana and the college “Kartli” so its construction is very important. Within the project, iron-concrete pavement will be laid, drainage channels, a metal border, underground communications, a parking space, and outdoor lighting at the entrance of the Upper Seri Forest Park.
The cost of the third phase of construction of the Upper Seri Forest Park is 849,202 GEL. Regarding road construction, the project is transitional and its total cost is 1514,025 GEL. Both projects are being co-financed by the local budgets and the Regional Implementation Projects Fund.
They discussed with colleagues and wish that, in autumn, the Khashuri city celebration will be held in the Upper Seri Forest Park, which will help the full holding of the event and add function to the park.
