The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze opened the Anaklia Youth Camp and met with the youth participating. The opening ceremony of the camp was held on July 16, 2025, Wednesday.
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of the opening ceremony on its official Facebook Page. The Georgian Ministry of Education also shared a small note about the camp along with its photographs.
According to the information shared by the Ministry, it should be noted that the Georgian Education Minister addressed the students with a welcome speech and talked about the Ministry’s steps and plans in terms of supporting the youth.
The aim of the Anaklia Youth Camp:
- Increase access to active recreation for young people.
- Promote the social integration of young people.
- Promote their physical and intellectual potential.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle.
- Promote the establishment of national and European values.
- Encourage patriotic values.
Givi Mikanadze in his speech also congratulated and wished the participants and the community for opening this camp. He noted, “Congratulations on the opening of this wonderful camp. I would like to affirm my deepest respect to every student, because you are the future of Georgia, you are the tomorrow of this country.”
He also said that he is sure that the days here will be memorable not only by meeting peers and making new friends but also by sharing insights and having interesting discussions on topical issues in an informal environment.
Shortly, such an interesting camp will be opened in Racha and Shaori, where your peers and friends will have the opportunity to participate.
“As the newly-appointed Minister of Education, Science and Youth, I would like to tell you that supporting and promoting young people is one of our top priorities – we plan to implement several large-scale initiatives in this direction shortly,” stated the Minister.
