Theoretical training of investigative service interns begins

Georgia: The theoretical training of interns participating in the paid internship program of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia has begun at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance.

Within the framework of the program, trainees will take a six-month theoretical and practical training course at the Academy of Finance Ministry and in Tbilisi and the regional structural divisions of the institution.

The interns will gain detailed knowledge about their experience in dealing with crime in the financial field, specifics of their work, and relevant legislation.

At the selection stage of internships, Mikheil Maghlakelidze, the head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, met with the young people, together with other officials of the department. The Head of Service spoke about the importance of internships and noted that a paid internship program is the best format to start your career. Motivated interns are given a wide range of opportunities to increase knowledge and develop skills that will help them in their future professional endeavors. Mikheil Maghlakelidze wished young people success on their professional path.

At the Academy of the Ministry of Finance, the Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, Ioseb Vardzelashvili, and the Director of the Ministry of Finance Academy, Tariel Chulukhadze, congratulated the trainees on the start of theoretical training and wished them success.

Joseph Vardzelashvil noted that, in the academies of the Ministry of Finance and the divisions of the investigation agency, qualified personnel should be trained, who will be able to perform the functions of investigators and inspector-investigators within the scope of the investigation service.

According to Tariel Chulukhadze, teaching in the academy will focus on discussing the legal foundations of the investigation service, providing qualifications for crimes under the institution, and consolidating evidence obtained in accordance with the law.

SSP – Theoretical training of interns at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance will be spent for three months, and, for the next three months, young people will undergo practical internships in the detective service units.

The selection competition for the paid internship program announced in the Investigation Service was held in three stages in the organization. The first stage included testing the professional knowledge of competitors.

The next phases included skills testing and an interview. 15 interns were selected for vacant positions in the research field of the paid internship program announced in the Ministry of Finance’s Investigation Service.

The internship program in the Ministry of Finance’s Investigation Service has been successfully implemented for years.
