Tbilisi, Georgia: In Didi Dighomi, at the intersection of Rostevan and Asmati streets, an organization was established. Walking and cycling paths, a recreation pavilion, and a skate rink were placed on the half-hectare area.
The Tbilisi City Hall shared the glimpses of the works done on its official Facebook Page on January 12, 2026, Monday. The City Hall also shared a small note about the works along with its glimpses.
According to the small note shared by the Tbilisi City Hall, it should be noted that the mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, got acquainted with the deputy Kakha Abuladze about the completed works.
“We have completed one more recreational project in Did Dighomi. The new square is to be built on approximately half a hectare with a skate rink, rides, recreational pavilions, lighting, and irrigation systems. There are a lot of residential buildings around, and first of all, the citizens living here will have space to relax, have fun, and walk. We will continue to enter every district. The year 2026 will be special in terms of the implementation of various projects. “Of course, arranging recreational spaces is one of the priority directions for our team, – said Kakha Kaladze.
Within the scope of the project, a gym space has also been arranged and LED lighting will be installed. The area has become green, and up to 600 trees and plants have been planted. The project was funded by 1,250,000 GEL from the budget of the Saburtalo Board.
Along with the mayor of the capital, Gizo Vasadze, the speaker of Saburtalo, and the parliamentary delegate Akaki Aladashvili were present.
