Nevertheless, the challenges, especially in the water system, persist.
Today, Rustavi is developing urban areas at a very fast pace. From 2026, with the decision of the Georgian government, we will start to implement mega projects in Rustavi.
They have ongoing projects where new roads are being constructed, and the complete rehabilitation of existing ones is underway. The biggest share of investments planned and implemented in Rustavi comes from development companies. It all means that the city is growing and moving into a whole new phase of its development, a whole new way of life.
The company, which is responsible for the management of the city’s water supply and its sewerage system, in addition to ongoing projects, should already be planning projects that Rustav will definitely need.
The projects of rehabilitation of water supplies and sewers should be in full compliance with the new development plan of the city, which we have together with the Georgian Government and the local municipality, and which should make the life of Rustavi people suitable for modern needs and comfortable.
