Georgian Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili, introduced the employees of the Revenue Service to a new head, Mikheil Maghlakelidze. Until now, he has held the position of Chief of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance.
Former head of the service Irakli (Dachi) Beraia, deputies of the Minister of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze and Mamuka Baratashvili, as well as heads of structural units of the Revenue Service, attended the meeting held at the Ministry of Finance.
Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili, thanked Irakli (Dachi) Beraya for his service and wished him success in the position of First Deputy Head of State Audit Service.
At the meeting, he once again emphasized the importance of the Revenue Service’s work for the country’s progress and hoped that all reforms that would promote effective taxation and customs administration would continue.
As he noted, Mikheil Maghlakelidze is very familiar with the revenue service system because he has held various positions in the organization over the years.
Lasha Khutsishvili emphasized his professionalism and expressed hope that his successful work will continue even during his new job.
In his turn, Mikheil Maghlakelidze thanked for the trust and noted that the Revenue Service, together with the employees of the Revenue Administration, will continue to promote the economic progress of the country.
At the meeting, former head of Revenue Service Irakli (Dachi) Beraia thanked his colleagues for their support and expressed hope that the cooperation of the office will continue actively in the future. He wished Mikheil Maghlakelidze good luck in the process of working on a new position.
