The Chairman of the Adjara Government, Zurab Pataradze, met with the employees and leaders of the Kobuleti Municipality Hall and City Council. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara and representatives of regional government structures.
The meeting discussed the dynamics of the implementation of social and infrastructural projects in the municipality. Discussed issues that are important to the local population. The Prime Minister focused attention on the development prospects of the municipality and noted that Kobuleti has special economic and tourist importance.
“We remind you, Kobuleti is a very important resort. The municipality has great potential to be actively involved in the processes in all four seasons. When we are talking about the development and tourism of the region, it is necessary to follow the infrastructure in Perkhuli. We discussed all the projects being implemented today with both local resources and central government support. It was a very interesting meeting, and I think that the plans discussed today will affect the well-being of Kobuleti in the future,” said Zurab Pataradze.
After the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Government, together with the Chairman of the High Council of Adjara Tsotne Ananidze, and the Mayor of Kobuleti Municipality Irakli Tsetskhladze, got acquainted with the construction of a new seaside park in Pichvnari of Kobuleti.
Within the first stage of the project, the works are in the final phase – a boulevard of modern standards was built on a 600-meter section. After the project is fully completed, a 10-kilometer section of the boulevard on the Kobuleti coastline will be furnished, which will further increase the tourist attraction of the municipality. 8,335,588 GEL was spent on the works.
